NGJ has provided parking consulting services to Sound Transit for over four years. We have worked on approximately 75 commercial and industrial properties impacted by the light rail system in Seattle and Tukwila. This work has involved parking and truck circulation mitigation concept designs and budget cost estimates. Also it has included meeting with the property owners, working with the city zoning and building officials, ROW (right of way) truck and vehicle access design recommendations to Sound Transit, appraisers, ROW agents, attorneys and more. |
| NGJ concept designs and budget estimates, utilized by Sound Transit and its appraisers, have passed the tests imposed in mediation and settlements with the individual property owners impacted by the land takes for the light rail roadways, guideways and stations. In fact most of the property owners have noted that they are planning to incorporate NGJ’s designs for the their remedy due to the takes. |
